The white head, bright tricolor bill, and pale flesh legs were prominent among Vega Gulls. The mantle shade was slightly, but clearly paler than surrounding Vega Gulls.






Some faint dark markings are visible on the alula and central tail feathers.

 
The primaries show a large amount of black that reaches to the P4.
