Vega Gull
  Larus vegae
Mar. 25th 2011 Tokyo Imperial Palace Japan

This is a breached, whitish Vega Gull in March that resembles Mongolian Gull from a distance.

Note the longish overall structure and narrow tail band of the Mongolian Gull. Most Vega Gulls in January look much darker and browner.
